Bulk DNC scrubbing for CSV and Excel files

Review a contact list in one workflow: upload a spreadsheet, select the phone-number column, and download a CSV with DNC match results. The original checker supports CSV, XLS, and XLSX files.

Prepare your file

Upload, choose a column, and process

  1. Go to the bulk upload tool and select your file or drop it into the upload area.
  2. For a file with multiple columns, select the column containing the phone numbers and choose Upload and Process File. A single-column CSV can proceed directly.
  3. Keep the page open while your file uploads and watch the processing status.
  4. Use the download button when processing finishes. Review any account, download, or membership requirements shown by the service.

Guests can process one file per session. Create an account to track files and see the options available for ongoing use. Free processing does not imply that every download or membership feature is unlimited.

Read the added status column

The processed CSV adds a DNC status to each accepted row. Yes - On DNC List indicates a match; No - Not on DNC indicates no match in the active dataset. The tool marks results rather than silently removing all matched contacts from your original file.

Filter the status column in your spreadsheet application to review matches. A non-match is not permission to call. Apply your own opt-out records and other checks before using a contact list.

Why does the output have fewer rows?

The current processor skips rows where the selected phone field is empty or cannot be normalized to a supported number. A smaller output count can therefore mean invalid input, a wrong column selection, or blank cells. Compare the output with your original file before assuming every row was checked.

Troubleshoot an unsuccessful upload

Confirm the actual file format, rather than renaming an unsupported file to .csv. If Excel data does not appear as expected, export the relevant worksheet to CSV and try again. Check that the selected column contains complete phone numbers, not names or account IDs. If processing reports an error, keep the original file and contact support with the time and the error message.

For one number, use the single-number lookup guide. For an application that needs programmatic checks, see the DNC lookup API overview. Read our privacy policy before uploading contact data.
