About Free DNC List

Free DNC List is an independent online service for checking phone numbers against a loaded do-not-call dataset. It offers a single-number lookup, CSV and Excel processing, and account-based API access.

How the checker works

The lookup searches the dataset currently active on this website. File processing reads a selected phone-number column and adds a match status to accepted rows. The result describes a match in that dataset; it does not identify a caller, verify consent, or guarantee legal compliance.

How updates reach the live tool

An administrator uploads a new dataset. The importer validates its rows, processes batches, and verifies record counts before making it available for review. An administrator then activates the completed import. The homepage shows the recorded activation date, so visitors can see when this service's active dataset last changed.

That date is not the time of a live query to the government Registry. A recent registration or removal may not yet be reflected in the dataset. For your own official registration status, use DoNotCall.gov.

An independent service

Free DNC List is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the FTC. Our tools and optional commercial services are separate from the official Registry. Read the Registry guide if you are deciding where to register or verify a number.
