Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Free DNC List Checker website, DNC lookup tools, file processing tools, Federal DNC list registration application checkout, membership features, API access, downloads, and related services (the "Service").
Scope
This policy applies to information processed through the Service and any related communications. It does not cover third-party sites or services that we do not control.
Information you provide
We collect information you provide directly, such as name, email address, phone numbers you submit, uploaded CSV/XLS/XLSX files, selected phone-number columns, account credentials, membership selections, registration application information, support messages, API requests, and any notes or other information you submit.
Customer content
Files and numbers you upload are processed to generate DNC lookup results, processed files, downloads, status labels, and API responses. We may create logs, metadata, or derived data such as file metrics, row counts, processing timestamps, user IDs, and error records to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
Federal DNC registration applications
If you submit a phone number for Federal DNC list registration, we collect and process the submitted phone number, optional email address, payment confirmation, request identifiers, timestamps, and related application information so we can receive, verify, support, and process the application request. The application process may take up to 30 days to reflect in the Federal DNC List system.
Payment information
When you make a purchase, a third-party payment processing merchant such as Stripe or another available processor collects and processes payment information. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details such as amount, currency, plan or application type, transaction identifiers, customer identifiers, payment status, and billing contact details. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our servers.
Membership and API information
If you use membership or API features, we process membership tier, expiration date, API key, API key creation time, API authentication details, file IDs, download requests, and related account activity. API keys should be treated as confidential credentials.
Information collected automatically
We collect usage data such as IP address, device and browser information, access times, pages viewed, referral URLs, session information, authentication and login events, API access events, file processing events, download events, payment status events, security audit logs, and error logs.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, support persistent login sessions, remember preferences, enforce guest or session limits, measure performance, secure accounts, and improve the Service. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but disabling cookies may limit account, upload, membership, or API management features.
How we use information
We use information to provide DNC checks, process uploaded files, create processed downloads, support API responses, handle Federal DNC registration application requests, process transactions, activate or manage memberships, verify and secure accounts, respond to requests, provide support, troubleshoot errors, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, maintain audit logs, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, such as hosting providers, database and storage providers, payment processors, email and notification providers, analytics or logging providers, fraud prevention and security vendors, API infrastructure providers, and customer support tools. We may also disclose information to legal authorities when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale.
International transfers
If you access the Service from outside our operating country, your information may be transferred and processed in other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including providing accounts, downloads, API access, payment records, registration application support, security logs, troubleshooting, compliance, legal requirements, and dispute resolution. Uploaded and processed files, logs, and account data may be retained for operational, security, or support needs and may be deleted as part of routine storage management. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal, fraud-prevention, security, backup, payment, and compliance retention obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including access controls, authentication, session controls, logs, and operational security measures. However, no security measure is perfect and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password, API key, account access, and downloaded files.
Your choices and rights
You may update account information, rotate API keys where available, request access, correction, or deletion, and opt out of non-essential communications. You may also request information about how we process your data. Some information may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, payment records, legal compliance, backup integrity, or dispute resolution.
Marketing and communications
We may send transactional communications about accounts, API keys, payments, registration applications, downloads, security, support, and Service changes. We may send promotional communications where permitted by law, and you may opt out of non-essential promotional messages.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. The Service does not respond to these signals in a uniform way because standards are still evolving.
Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be effective when posted.
